Study Abroad Scholarships

The DIS Board of Directors has allocated need-based scholarship funds to enable you to study abroad in Denmark. 40% of all students receive a DIS study abroad scholarship or discount!

• DIS Scholarship –up to $4,000 per semester; $250-1,000 per summer depending on course/program selection
• Work-Study –up to $400 per semester
• Knud Helm-Erichsen Scholarship – for students who are the first attending DIS from their home institution in at least 3 years
• Mary Dau Scholarship – a study abroad scholarship for the first generation university students

Diversity Abroad offers twenty $1,000 study abroad scholarships each year to non-traditional study abroad students.  Scholarships are only available for students studying on programs offered by a Diversity Abroad member organization (including DIS). Economically disadvantaged students, African American, Asian American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American students are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as first generation college students.
